It\’s been a sad day. To wrap up our trip Ashley and I took a boat tour around Paris. It was interesting to see all the monuments and buildings from a different perspective.
Things I miss from Paris (in no particular order):
- Polite, well dressed people
- CNN International
- Coke with sugar
- Different languages all around me
- Foreign police sirens
- Trying to figure out words people are saying
- Fresh croissants and bread
- Small cars
- Good chocolate
- Twenty-four hour time
- Euro coins and bills
I’m so glad your trip has been so wonderful! You could hardly ask for more than wanting to come back when you leave, that’s for sure.

outside of the eiffel tower in the fog, this is my favorite pic. i love how the reflections in the water look like a mid-century illustrated postcard (the ones that make you say “how quaint … that’s so not the way things really look.”)
